Through a clinical partnership with Moderation Clinic, co-located under the same roof, patients are able to gain all of the same benefits of an in-house multidisciplinary team without the high overheads associated with employing an in-house team. This means a lower cost to you.

Multidisciplinary Care Program:
This program is run through the Moderation Clinic. There will be initial appointments with the Dietician ($140), Psychologist ($230) and PT. Subsequent Psychology sessions are $205, and Dietician appointments additional to the bariatric care plan are $80. Medicare Rebates may apply if you are eligible for care plans.
Depending on other medical problems you may have, consultation with other specialists may be required which could attract additional fees.
Inpatient investigations and blood tests may attract additional fees.
The Moderation Clinic delivers our bespoke multidisciplinary care comprising of a clinical psychologist, bariatric dieticians, exercise coach and allied health care coordinator.
Kevin Glisenti, the founder of Moderation Clinic, has expertise in the treatment of binge-eating disorder and psychological barriers to losing or maintaining weight that has been lost. Common psychological obstacles in this regard include emotional eating (using food to regulate emotion), distorted body image, irregular eating patterns and unrealistic physical activity goals.
Taylor Vickery is an Accredited Practising Dieticians with a specialist interest in bariatric nutrition. She will work with you to guide you through the dietary changes and educate you on the nutritional requirements to maintain your health and achieve the best results long-term.
Sheoni Stainwall is an approachable and motivating personal trainer who is also a registered nurse. She is the founder of “She’s Fit by Sheoni”, and has competed at national level in bodybuilding. Sheoni will assist you in formulating an exercise or activity plan that fits in with you once you have recovered from surgery.
Rhani Glisenti is the Allied Health Care Coordinator, and will ensure compliance with your bespoke bariatric program to ensure that you maximise your results from surgery.
